Alakonnu Rally is a motorcycle roadbook rally in Southern Estonia. The event offers a weekend packed with adrenaline, navigation, and unforgettable experiences across the Southern Estonian landscape.
The rally takes place in the beautiful nature of Valga and Võru County, where participants navigate using a roadbook on public roads, village roads, forest trails, and farm tracks. It's an adventure rally where navigation, enjoying the ride, and team spirit are what matter most.
Along the route, participants face various tasks, checkpoints, and exciting challenges. Rally Enduro: Motorcycles up to 130 kg. Rally Dual Sport: Motorcycles over 130 kg and up to 180 kg. Rally Adventure: Motorcycles over 180 kg.

The main ticketed access restrictions apply in the bivouac area. Adult companions and followers who want bivouac access or want to use event facilities need a valid companion ticket. Companion tickets help us manage limited facilities, keep security standards high, and identify visitors on site with wristbands collected from the registration table. Open-field viewers are welcome in public viewing areas, but riding along the rally route or following a rider without a valid ticket is still prohibited. We aim to publish a map with the best viewpoints before the event. The exception is a companion under 18 who is not driving and therefore does not need a separate companion ticket. If someone enters restricted bivouac access without the required ticket, or rides along the route without a valid ticket, the organizers reserve the right to remove them from the event area and disqualify the associated rider without refund.
Organizer practical safety information
The rally takes place on public roads open to traffic where all traffic laws apply. All participants must comply with traffic regulations. Motorcycles must have valid documentation and a valid technical inspection. Police may stop riders for documentation and technical checks. The organizers assume no liability for accidents.

Where is the Alakonnu Rally base camp located?
The rally base camp is at Kaagjärve Manor in Southern Estonia. The event center, rider check-in, and weekend logistics are built around the Kaagjärve Manor area.
What is the Bivouac?
At Alakonnu Rally, the Bivouac is the Rally Base—the event’s central Rally Bivouac. It includes Kaagjärve Manor and its surrounding alleys and parks.
What kind of roads and terrain can riders expect?
Riders can expect a roadbook rally route that combines village roads, forest sections, and local farm tracks in the Valga and Võru County region of Southern Estonia.
Can I ride the route on an ATV or UTV?
No. The Alakonnu Rally route is for motorcycles only. ATVs, UTVs, quads, SSVs, and other four-wheeled off-road vehicles are not permitted on the route.
How is a roadbook rally different from an enduro rally?
A roadbook rally differs from an enduro rally because you are not only riding the terrain, you are also constantly following roadbook instructions, distances, and turns at the same time. In many enduro events the route is marked with tape or arrows, but in a roadbook rally you must find the correct way from the navigation notes yourself. Reading and following the instructions is a challenge of its own, not just the riding.
What are the basic motorcycle requirements?
Participants need a technically sound motorcycle with valid insurance, working brakes and lights, and a valid technical inspection where required.

Where can I get food, groceries, and fuel during the rally weekend?
During your stay at Kaagjärve Manor, in-house catering is available on site. During the rally day itself, participants must plan their own food stops and carry what they need on the bike. If you need extra groceries or supplies, the nearest larger stores are in Valga. One convenient option is Kungla Konsum, Kungla 37b, 68205 Valga. The nearest gas stations are Alexela Valga, Vabaduse 41, 68205 Valga and Olerex Valga, Transpordi 2, 68205 Valga.

Alakonnu Rally was born from the motorcycle community's love for adventure and the nature of Southern Estonia. Our mission is to provide unforgettable experiences for all who dare to explore.

Main Organizer & Track Master
The mind behind Alakonnu Rally and a passionate motorcyclist. Since the very first rally, he has been the track master and driving force behind the event. Has ridden across adventure rallies in Europe, gathering experience from Scandinavian forest trails to Central European challenges.
Maileen Pillaroo
Main Organizer
The organizational genius who keeps everything running smoothly. An avid adventurer who believes the best memories are made outside your comfort zone, she rides a Husqvarna 701 and has traveled to many European countries on two wheels. This is her third time organizing the Alakonnu Rally, fueled by her love for motorbikes and the community around them.
Martin Kask
Main Organizer
Developer and strategist building the rally's digital backbone. Away from code, he is usually on two wheels: he has ridden Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and currently rides a Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid. He believes motorcycle travel opens the way to new places and gives you a chance to reinvent yourself wherever the road takes you.

Founder & Lead Track Master
Andre was one of the founders of Alakonnu Rally, bringing system, rules, and discipline to the organization. Thanks to his organizational skills, the rally grew to the scale we enjoy today. Having participated in two Breslau Rallies, he brought an international approach to the event. The night stage was his vision — that's why the first special stage bears his name. Andre passed away in 2025. 🕯️
